I was just surfing through Amazon and saw this necklace and thought "Wow! The design for that cross necklace looks pretty tight." And so I bought it. The cross pendant itself does look pretty cool. One big complaint though, is that on the back side, there is a label/engraving that says "stainless steel". Everytime the pendant happens to be flipped over and someone sees it, they're like "what does it say on there?" thinking someone's name is on there or something. Then they see that it says "stainless steel," and they're like "ok...". When I bought the item, if they had a picture of the back side on display showing this, I probably would not have bought this item. To avoid people asking me about the "stainless steel" all the time, I took a black sharpie permanent marker and colored over it.Another thing is that the chain itself doesn't look that great. As I mentioned, I really do think the design of the pendant itself looks great, but the quality of the chain is sub-par. I think I would buy another chain just to replace it.If you still really like the design, like I did, I would recommend this item. But as I mentioned, you probably want to spend some money on a better looking chain to go along with it.

Very happy with this purchase .. the pendant is fairly large, so people can actually see it - - and also they can clearly tell it's not a typical cross which would carry a religious meaning. The chain that it comes with is long enough to wear on its own, and it has a lobster fastener at the end instead of the typical "try to jam the ball in the slot" thing on most ball chains. I see a lot of reviewers complaining about the chain. You're mainly buying a pendant here people - - the chain should be an after-thought. The pendant is cool enough alone to warrant the price.Someone said the chain is too feminine and short to be worn by a man - - how thick is your neck if you can't get a 18" chain with an extra 4" on it, for a total of 22", around your neck comfortably? You're either a power lifting body builder, or you may want to invest in a treadmill and put down the Cheetos. You can buy a 30" stainless steel ball chain on here for like $5 that should last the rest of your life.Someone also said they are disappointed that the back side of the pendant has "STAINLESS STEEL" labeled on it, and that people ask what's engraved on there whenever the pendant gets flipped over. First of all, i havent had this pendant flip over one single time. Second, the engraving is really tiny. I'm uploading two pics of this product so people can see how tiny the print is.Overall a great purchase for me ..hard to find unique men's jewelry that's cheap and won't rust or tarnish. A++ product ..

Let me say, I did not buy it initially for the chain. I was taking an open-minded stance towards the chain. I was COMPLETELY DISAPPOINTED with the chain. It may be stainless, but the gauge of the ball is the same as a light bulb pull, or bath tub drain. It looks about as cheap as that too. The 4" extender is a joke. Looks extremely feminine.The pendant is a nice design, however it is very light. In the photos, it looks silver. One may assume all silve. Not the case with the one I received. Mine is black with a silver front. You can see black outline on front edges. On back, stainless steel is stamped through the black coating so it clearly stands out as silver lettering on the black surface.Over-all, I am not impressed with this item as a complete set. For the price, I think it is NOT worth it at all ($25). I do not know how they came up with the retail ($75) but at that price, would be an extreme rip off.Be aware of what you will be getting.

This item you can pick up at a smoke shop for 10 bucks. It's cheaply made, light and comes with a cheap chain. Absolutely not worth 30 bucks.This is a rip-off.

Bought this for my daughter to give to her boyfriend for Xmas. The cross itself was good quality & a unique design but I didn't care for the chain. The chain had an extender on it which, frankly, was bizarre for a man's necklace. I bought a separate chain which 'upped' the price invested in this gift. Paired with the new chain it was awesome so the gift was a 'winner' in the end.

From the original photo of the pendant it is difficult to discern that it is actually painted, the darker areas appear to be more shadowed. When I ordered I thought this was all metal (similar to other Bico/tribal-style pendants). I purchased this because I thought it would be a cool gift for my nephew. I am returning it because it is completely painted & looks really cheap. The gift box was extremely nice, too bad the product didn't match that quality. Please see the pictures that I & another customer have posted - it gives you a much better idea of what this ACTUALLY looks like.

This piece was beautiful. I bought it for my son because he has a tribal tatoo and I wanted him to have a cross so it suited us both. The cross itself is beautiful but the chain, though attractive is not very sturd nor is the small piece of leather that attaches it to the necklace. It's beautiful but if you buy it go ahead and get a chain at the same time. His broke the first week he wore it, but luckily he knew it and saved the cross, which we put on a sturdier chain.
