The outside of the box & the music it plays is beautiful. But the ballerina inside was very disappointing. The paint job was terrible with brown smeared blobs across the face, I assume for eyes, and the paint was chipped in several places. With it this close to Christmas my husband is going to try repainting it & hope for the best. If I had seen the inside in person first,I would not have purchased it. It's a shame because the outside really is pretty.

Just got this today. The inside of the box is not as shown in the picture. No those little boxes/divider at all. The color is different too. a bit disappointed.

While it is very pretty, this needs to be given to an older child. One that can just open and close it carefully. The ballerina fell after one day. The material feels cheap and almost like cardboard or paper. Music sounds fine but not much of a bargain. Invest more and buy something more durable if the receipient is a toddler.

Not as pictured, not worth 15 dollars... 7 or 8 and I would have expected what we got.No ring box in the certer as pictured. Very flimsy feeling when you open and close the box. The music is pretty, as you would expect to hear. My daughter is turning 4 so this will work for her as a first time music box but totally not worth 15 dollars

I got the music box and opening it to give to my daughter it did not sound, is totally without sound and give him more rope does not work, we can do in this case, return it and send me a new one??
